Well, I'm only 27 so my history doesn't go back as far as some here when it comes to viewing the fringe suck players, but here's my all-suck first team offense.
QB-Henry Burris
HB-Brock Forsey (great white hype)
FB-Jason McKie
TE-Dustin Lyman
RT-QMitch
RG-Terrence Metcalf
C-Casey Wiegmann(I understand he went on to have a great career, but he was not good with us and the worst of a pretty outstanding bunch)
LG-Steve Edwards
LT-OMH
WR-Greg Primus
WR-Airese Currie
What, no bracket playoff system to determine the grand toilet bowl champion??
I'm shocked![]()
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

I had forgotten about Air Currie. The hype was so great for him that we thought we had a cross between Jerry Rice & Chuck Norris - who would lead us to the Promised Land.
But then he never caught a single pass in a regular season game. None.
I did hear that he eaked out one season for the mighty Tiger Cats of the Canadian league. Another Jerry Angelo boutique pick that busted.
Go Bears!

We should have an official Chicago Bears "Hall of Shame" and have as the first inductee, Jerry Angelo.
When we tell scary stories to our children and grand children, we should skip the ones about the "wicked witches" and "boogie men" and tell them REAL scary stories about Jerry Angelo - and the unspeakable horror of the JA years. Of course SOME things are just TOO scary, even for us adults. As I re-read this thread I realized I may need years of therapy to get over the JA experience.

Don't forget Team Pres Mike Mc, who was every bit of a terrible as JA was at his job. Then coaches, a close 1st and 2nd Abe G and Dooley.
^^^^ This.
As bad as JA was, these guys were worse. from '68 to '71 Dooley went 20 & 36 for a .357 percentage. That's a good number in baseball, or at the shooting range, but not in football. And the all-time worst was Gibron, who went 11 & 30 from '72 to '74 for a 0.268 percentage. It just doesn't get any worse than those years.
