an average look at 1st and 2nd round wr picks since 2000. It gives a good idea as to what we should expect from Jefferies; and we can look back at what our ufda SANZANBACKAAAAAAAAAAAA (who very well could be cut did)
"...Rookie receivers drafted in rounds one or two, in the NFL have averaged a
pedestrian 32 receptions (rounding up), 432 yards, and three touchdowns.
Possibly the only bright side to that lethargic number is that last year,
rookie receivers put forth their most productive year to date. Rookies in 2011
averaged, 46 receptions, 686 yards, and five touchdowns (rounding up from 4.5). ..."

So average for the 1st 2 rounds is 32 and 400 yards and 3 td's, last year was 46 686 and 5.
Danes was 27 276 and 3 td's.
IMO considering your talking about what are considered the elite wr's to an udfa his #'s are pretty solid. Ecspecially in the TD area. He got dogged b/c of his drops but again this is a very difficult position to learn and transistion to and really he's a 3rd and 4th option where a lot of these other wr's are 1st and 2nd, at worst 3rd. Again I really hope he makes the team and gets a shot to contribute as the 2nd possession guy behind Bennett.
As for Jefferies I think he should be in that last year's grouping rante, 40-50 catches and 600-700 yards and around 5 td's. It's getting easier to pass, and he's going to be the 2nd or 3rd passing option on most plays.
I think your right on w/Jeffery and his possible output. For Sans he had to also endure the complex and outdated system of Martz. Sans (if he sticks) will have a bit more field to work with. Add to that a full camp plus his rook experience he could be a nice surprise /secret weapon.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Ya Sanz gets a bit of a raw deal, most ufda's would have never seen the field; let alone been expected to catch passes in the redzone, goaline and endzone. I just don't know how he makes the team w/how many wr/st players they brought in on top of Jefferies and Marshal.
