I will be in Grant Park that night at Lollapalooza (I'll be there all weekend). I am going to training camp, and hopefully can score some regular season tickets.

Im stoked for camp. Plus I get a limited media credential this year! Ive never been to camp before so Im stoked to see it up close and personal. Finally, no more just listening to sports talk radio to hear how players look.

I try to make camp every year. I've taken my kids and their friends since they were little guys & now they are in college and we can car pool up there. There is nothing quite like it. And it's free. You can get close to the players. They're usually really good with the kids signing autographs. And it's major cool to watch players in practice as they hone their skills.

I like to sit on the grassy hill that overlooks all of the practice fields. On a summer day with a nice breeze, you can sit up there and watch all of the practice fields at once. Then if you spot something you want to see close up (a particular player or unit) then I walk over to that field and can watch close up. Photo opportunities are awesome. Pure awesome.

I'll be there this year too, but won't make family night. I will, however, bring my fam to training camp for the annual pilgrimage.
