I don't know if it's Rod's line splits, or responsibilities but both Toe and Melton need to emphasize that as well.

    Good stuff Shorty.

Crushing the pocket also will add sack opportunities for Peppers and our other DE's. Quickly collapsing the pocket flushes that QB into being DE road kill. This is precisely what other teams do to the Bears. I get sick of watching it done to us each year.....especially Kreutz's last season with us. Olin seemed to be on his back "doing the turtle" more often than he was upright.

    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

I've always liked Toe. But we MUST resign Melton before his price tag gets too high; he's, if nothing else an athletic good pass rusher, not to mention we let Akoye walk after last year and we MUST keep depth. Hopefully our O-line works out, so Emery could worry more about drafting towards bringing in fresh blood to the interior of the line and CB. If the line is good this year, my god, our safeties might have less of a spotlight on them, which as much talent as they have, still haven't proven themselves (Conte looks really promising, Wright better start figuring **** out.
