From twitter, the Bears released rookie RB Alvester Alexander and agreed to terms with RB Lorenzo Booker on one-year deal. Alexander wasn't drafted, but signed as a UDFA.
In four games with the Vikings, Booker was used primarily as a kick returner. On 18 returns, he amassed 429 yards for an average of 23.8 yards a return. He also had 5 catches for 32 yards.
Special teams signing? Competition for Armando Allen?
Yeah, I'd guess he's a special teams guy. A "Toub Toy"

Not earth-shattering, not terrible.
Well, no matter how well our offense or defense does, it's obvious we've got more than enough competition, again, to keep this ST one of the best in the NFL.
