The Buccaneers traded defensive tackle Brian Price to the Chicago Bears for an undisclosed 2013 draft pick. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that it was a late-round draft pick. The Buccaneers also cut wide receiver Dez Briscoe.
In Price and Briscoe, Schiano jettisoned two players who have been in the news this offseason. Price reportedly punched rookie Mark Barron during a team meeting. Price also missed much of the offseason -- including some time in the hospital -- to be with his family after the tragic loss of his sister. Perhaps the deal will give Price, who has struggled with injuries, a chance to make a fresh start.
Briscoe also missed some of the Buccaneers' voluntary workouts this offseason. The reserve receiver was embroiled in some sort of controversy involving the reality show "The Basketball Wives" that we managed to never learned about. Schiano probably didn't want to know much about it either, and now Briscoe is an ex-Buc.

Well, I doubt he punches anyone else, seeing that as a warning, don't know how good he is, but extra help at dt never hurts.

Tons of potential
Jackass behavior
35th pick overall gets traded for a 7th rounder ....... hmmmm.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

No worries, everyone already has thier seat, He'll have to pick an empty chair.

Barron is a freakin Rookie Safety and he wouldn't get up for this mountain of a Lineman on his own Defensive side of the ball, after all this kid has gone through? I think he deserved a smack if you ask me.
Here is a story on the injury this kid is trying to come back from:

Ya know, this kid may not be much help this year, but someone with this kind of talent at the cheap price he came for, is worth investing a little time. Here's hoping a fresh start in Chicago with a good team, trainers and respectful team mates will unleash the Grizzly inside. Welcome to Da Bears Mr. Price.

I"m still hoping to see Paea at 3tech at times. I know Okoye had to get scoped so this seems like a push to me. I'm hoping the new culture will spur this guy on and perhaps Rod can develop him. This could also be insurance/leverage on Melton's contract situation.
Perhaps this is the first glimmer from the new scouting dept.

Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

What's the over/under for when we first see "The Price was right" as a headline?
