Well I'll take the weakest WR starting a little faster then the rest b/c I know the rest will catch up to him. But it's good to know he's off to a better start then he has been; gives me hope that he's starting to get it and will be a more productive when he's on the field. But again, lets see what's going on 3-4 weeks from now when everything should be going full swing for everyone.
Cutler was very complimentary about Hester's play during the OTA's. Remember what Urlacher said about things they said in the past being said "because it was the right thing to say"?
This year their serious but it's gonna seem like "crying wolf" until they prove it. Hester has never been developed like a decent WR should have been and he's always split time as a return man. Maybe where it usually takes 3 years to fully develop and NFL WR (and that's after the played the position in college) in Hester's case it's taking twice that long.
All I know is if they can find a way to put that ball in his hands with some open space around him 5-6 time per game we're gonna see some fireworks. They just have to use him right.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
Honey Badger Don't Care. Honey Badger Don't Give a Shit.
Well JABF99 you weren't the only one expecting magic from day one between Cutler & Marshall, but I hope and think it will come onces the dust is blown away.
I enjoy to hear that Hester is "finally" looking good as a WR I really hope this year will be his.
