I wanted to find a great place to watch the final scrimmage of the day. There was a baby stroller parked in the IDEAL place, right up against the ropes in a perfect spot to watch and photograph the players. So I noticed it was a family of Bears fans there with the stroller - grandpa, grandma, husband, wife, 3 year old & a real little guy in Bears jammies (he was barely crawling age).
Die hard fans to the max.
They let me sit in front of the stroller (nice folks). So, I'm spending the afternoon next to the 3 year old. A cute little guy who I thought would be bored out of his mind while the adults watched the scrimmage.
Man, was I wrong.
This family had raised that kid right. He was INTO that game, and his football IQ was shocking! An RB fumbled and the kid was all over it - raising heck over not hanging onto the ball. Route running, blocking, everything on the field, THIS kid was on it. My jaw was dropping everytime he had a comment.
He was obviously, at 3 years of age, smarter than any of the ESPN idiots I listen to. I should have shook that Dad & Granddad's hand for "raising him right".....
Bears fans are the best, man. Just fanatical zealots about their football.

You can never have too many. I've got four Telecasters now and my next project will be to modify another Tele into an Esquire. There's a couple more and a Taylor acoustic/electric and I won't even get started on my project of rebuilding my bass herd. (I play both)
