That and GB's not running an entirely new offensive scheme. Bears can't say that.

    And that IS an advantage.

I'm not sure I'd call that an advantage for you guys. In fact, the Bears are bringing a better scheme and better players to Lambeau. The Packers on the other hand, don't have anything new to show the Bears that they haven't already seen. These teams know each other very well but is GB that's seeing a new program on offense. So that's clearly advanatge for the Bears.

I mean lets be honest...the offense the Bears brought against the Packers in '10 - '11 was no serious threat. Things are very different now though.

You make it sound as if Tice is installing a scheme no one has ever seen before. Like he's inventing an entirely new type of offense. Like he's bringing some all new shit that NO ONE in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE NFL has ever seen before! Really?

I mean, lets face it: change isn't a new idea to NFL teams. Teams change schemes all the time. Some more significant than others, but from year to year every single team in the NFL changes the scheme they run, whether it be the type of routes they prefer, the type of coverage they play, their run/pass ratio, etc. Changes in scheme aren't that significant, especially not to a veteran DC like Capers. Pretty sure Dom Capers has game planned for new offensive coordinators and teams running new schemes before.

And last I checked, the Packers are working on fixing their defense. You act as if we're just spinning our wheels while the Bears have done nothing but get better everywhere. We have young talented players getting their reps in no different than any other team in the NFL.

And last, but certainly not least, a good chunk of your posts come back to the same theme: the Bears are better. The Bears have equaled/surpassed the Packers/this team/that team! The Bears offense will be super amazing this season! Blah blah blah, all the while this new super amazing Bears offense has yet to take a snap in an NFL game yet this season thus you have nothing to base it on. I have no doubt Tice is a step up from Martz (honestly, who wouldn't be? I said he was a horrible hire from the start), but lets wait until the rubber meets the road before we crown their asses, ok?

Loki was making a big deal about the Bears coming in with a new offense and suggesting that's a GB advantage.

So the rest of your post is full of a lot of words but is total shit.

And don't forget to give me a positive rep point.

Right, and you came right back and said it was an advantage for the Bears, your point being?

Why would I give you positive rep? You do nothing but give me negative rep with some stupid snarky comment attached to it.

A new Bears offense loaded with talent, unlike in previous years, is an advantage for CHI. This is elementary.

You give me a positive rep because you're my bitch.

A new Bears offense loaded with talent that you nor anyone else has seen play in the new scheme. Players will still be learning the nuances of said scheme through a good part of the early season. An advantage for Chicago over their offense last season? Sure. An offense where you hike Cutler the ball and have everyone run in random directions would be an upgrade over that. However until the bullets fly for real and everyone proves to be on the same page it's nothing but speculation.

I always figure anything can happen in a Bears/Packers game. I guess that's why I find the rivalry games so exciting. There is no better rivalry in pro football.

I sure wish I had tickets to this one.

That's because anything can and will happen. There is no better rivalry in all of sports. Tickets won't be cheap.

One thing about Rodgers...he hasn't dominated us. We've beat him with some weak Bears teams.
Well all things being equal otherwise that still gives them a 3 point edge as home team and there isn't much difference between the two than that. It'll be a close game but I admit they have a slight edge. Of course that makes beating them all that much sweeter because it puts us a game up on them right out of the box.

I'm not convinced the Pack will win. We've actually done well playing them at home but I'd say they do have an edge. Not a big one but an edge nonetheless.
