Two different positions really. Spaeth and Davis are inline TE's. They'll line up along the line just outside the tackle and block against lineman and LB's. Rodriguez and Adams are what they used to call H/Backs but not they call them "F' TE's or "Move" TE's. These guys are flanked out in they slot where they can get a free release and get down field in a hurry and into the passing lanes. They'll be matched up against LB's and Safeties in the blocking schemes.

Davis and Spaeth are probably locks to make the team. The battle at H/Back is between Adams and Rodriguez and peripherally Clutts. My guess is two of those three will make it and it looks like Rodriguez is turning some heads in camp so it may be down to whether the keep Adams as an H/Back/FB or Clutts as a conventional blocking and receiving FB. That big kid Draylen Ross may be in the mix too.

I honestly think Rodriguez is going to be a star. Aaron Hernandez part deux.

He'll be a really solid addition to our offense.

So I see ur from Md ......... so I'm assuming this is based on seeing him play cuz ur in Temple's tv market and have gotten a real good look at him , or is it just a feeling ? What's ur scouting report ( if so ) because I didn't get to see him play at all living here and the tapes I watched on him didn't seem all that exceptional ( but that can be misleading ). So I'd be interested to know why u think this.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

    Just a feeling.

Has size and speed. Better than average hands. And I think the Bears are going to put him in a position to succeed. He's going to spend some time in the H-back sport ala Kleinsasser

I'll take it ...... as long he catches the ball and has enough speed to make himself a difficult cover for linebackers ...... and take it to the house a few times .

Honestly guys...I think that when Emery drafted Rodriguez...he was saying to himself..."Chicago Fans are going to love me for this pick down the road." Everything that I've read about him so far indicates that this guy is going to bring a unique facet of explosive and game changing ability to this offense. This guy is our secret weapon.
