I guess it's a no brainer. It will come down to which player improved the most. C.Will may be a much improved LT now due to his LG experience. He was not so good at LT when he was an inexperienced player. But much may have changed & he could be solid now.

Webb will need to be a MUCH improved player as as far as consistency. He has to show up every snap. He can't take plays off. He has to focus better (like remembering snap counts ).

You can't tell who has progressed more, not at this early time at camp. Tice will know though in a couple of weeks who is ready to be the LT starter. My guess is C.Will. It sounds like Webb's problems have been with him going back to college. Effort and focus problems are a cancer IMHO. I'd rather have a less talented guy, who gives 100% effort 100% of the time. Overachievers. The NFL is full of them on olines. Actually, I think Garza is one of these at center.

C.Will is consistent. I think this may win the LT slot for him this year. But who knows. Maybe Webb will finally "get it" and do better. With us so thin at tackle, I'd just have the loser in this competition be the backup. I think it was Soul who said we'll probably pick up a cut tackle this month (there will be somebody worth picking up). That's a smart move. We are too thin with depth at tackle.

Thanks. Well, I guess we've beat this one to death. I'm done with this thread for a while. I think I'll bounce back to the "More Bush" thread (gives me a warm and fuzzy!)

If Wooton could finally get it to together and stay injury free, our DL could be fierce.
