I voted yes, but I only voted that way as an answer to the question. So, Yes, he will show his worth this year. That doesn't mean the worth will be high or low, but by the end of this season, the experiment will be over and we'll either have our LT of the future or we'll know we have to look elsewhere.
The Greatest form of revenge is MASSIVE success.
Yes. I hope.
I meant worth, as in deserving to be the starting LT, not a starting LT that's a 7th round pick...

Yes, he will show his worth... good or bad.
It's make or brake for the LT position for him. I think he will improve. He'll either improve greatly and be the LT or just a bit and be the swing. Still think he would be a better RT. Carimi has lost body fat and is probably as "athletic" to handle the speed rushers on the left side. Won't see it but would like him to compete for LT if he's 100%.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!
I agree - the way it's set up, it could mean that he can show his worth to be nothing. But I do think he will show his worth -- whatever it is.

Thanks for starting the poll Henry. I'm "in" with a "yes" ....I've been pounding down the kool aid for a few days now. I had been real worried about the LT spot, but my gut feeling is that Webb is going to be improved to the point he'll be pretty solid for us.
Go Bears!

Obviously he will show his worth....now the real question is, how much is he worth? Is he worth investing a 1st round draft pick into LT next year, or is he worth resigning?

I think a lot depends on how well the backs help him block.
