As I said in another thread they really don't want Sanz to make the team. I know Toub needs to be appeased but come on. We better have the number 1 ST in the league after this. And why in the hell can't Drake lobby as hard as Toub for someone/anyone else. Oh yeah it's b/c Drake blows.
Just my knee-jerk reaction
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Seriously our ST is going to be amazing.. we should be allowed one receiver who might not be a stand out on ST. I think if we let Sanz go the Bears are going to look stupid when he tears it up elsewhere. I loved Davis when he was on the team, but we've moved on. I wish they'd just keep Sanz.

He's a 33 year old ex-arena league midget WR. He had 4 catches last year.
If we let Sanz go for this guy it must mean Sanz is not NFL material. Because I've never believed Davis was anything more than an average arena league guy, who had 4 years with the San Jose SaberCats (before Jerry Angelo signed him).

Davis is camp fodder and should only be viewed as someone to replace Devin Thomas (who in my opinion retired because he knows he was going to be cut). No sky falling, no need for ire.

if we go after a young UFA, he could impress a bit more than Sanz while being the worse player. Fans would want that young guy over Sanz and it would not be easy for Emery to explain those fans why that young UFA was cut
I'm sticking with that, and Lovie loves his vets over rookies. I don't see Rashied making any strides over the kid, unless he just can't catch the ball in the preseason.“(He’s making a) big impression, the same type he made last year coming in as an undrafted free agent and earning a spot on the roster,” Smith said. He’s improved his play just in general. He picks up things pretty quickly. We’re pleased with him. He should have a good shot with our team.”
