The expectations are higher than I've ever seen for a Bears team. I'm wondering if the team looks a bit rough Thursday, will the "sky be falling" for a lot of fans?

Don't know about that but if the O line pre-season performance is reminiscent of the 2010 pre-season offering there will sure be warning bells.
Yep.
If Jay get sacked 5 times on 4 plays I may say bad things about Lovie Smith and Mike Tice.
Not to rip on my DaBears peeps, but this board goes nuts over preseason games. I almost started a "Preseason Freakout" thread because it happens every year, like clock work.
I remember having to argue more than a few times the 85 Bears went 1-3 and the 2008 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. I'm gonna watch just cause it's the Bears, and to really only focus on the lines and guys that will have to give it their all to make the team. Then again, I'm always bored by the 2nd quarter with preseason, anyway.......
I'm not going to be concerned until week one against the Colts. It's pre-season. Great performances and terrible performances should be taken with a grain of salt. I'm interested in the back-ups playing but otherwise not worried. It would be cool to see Marshall score a TD or make an awesome RAC play but I'm not worried if they don't. Whether it's 0-4 or 4-0 won't affect how we play when the real season starts.
I'm with BigClaws.
A lot of guys are making threads liem you're a bunch of pussies. Seriously, wait until the season starts so we can actually see how these guys play when it matters. You guys are overreacting with every stupid thing you read the beat writers report. Its gayness to infinity. No Bears fans in NJ, and we have a club out here, is overreacting to anything we are reading.
