Bears VS Donkeys game thread

Since this is the first pre-season game of 2012 I thought I'd start a game thread. I know it's only pre season and doesn't count for much but I am anxious to see what our new players bring to the table. I also want to see the Bears beat Denver like a drum!

I could care less what the final score is. It's meaningless. Since BU is not playing, here's what I'd hope to see:

1) QB pressure from the likes of Melton, Paea, and Wooten.

2) Carimi looking solid and ok with his knee.

3) Webb not being an embarrassment like he was in last years opening PS game and closing RS one.

4) Positive flashes from our draftees McCl, Jeffery, Hardin, & ERod.

5) NO MORE INJURIES TO STARTERS

[We already know what guys like Cutty, Marshal, Forte, Peppers, Tillman can do--that can wait another month imho]

Give me (most) of the above, and it's a success no matter what the final score is.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this. Can't wait to see the game even if all the vets don't play much. Even Bears lite is very welcome.

Well, given the weather, I'll bet we'll see an even more limited view of our starters. I guess we'll see how the new and improved field holds up.

We need the rain out here, and I needed a bath, just not today.
