Every year there seems to be a few players that get cut by one team that make a home for themselfs with there new team, I just hope Emery can find a couple of these players not just for the O line but to help out the Defense.
That is a good point. I'd love to see them pick up a veteran tackle for depth as a swing tackle, and then move C.Will back to LG where he played much better than Spencer is playing now.

I don't think you'll get a starter quality tackle. Obviously, teams don't let starter quality LT's go. If they do, then there is probably a reason they let the guy walk. But a backup quality guy may become available. We're set at interior linemen. We just need 1 more decent tackle.

I'd still hope that Emery does a permanent fix like he did at WR. After the season, we may be able to get a quality tackle in FA. And then follow up with a 2nd round project (not one of these stupid UFA's or 7th rounders). You should be able to get a project WORTH the effort of coaching up, in the 2nd round. He won't be likek a top 10 first round pick who is ready to go that first season, but he may be just as good in his 2nd or 3rd year. Gotta look to the future too here.

That 1st round pick next year should probable be Urlacher's eventual replacement.

I totally agree especially with the Urlacher part. But I did have laugh and not at you, it was the part about finding a starter quality tackle later in FA. The first thing that came to mind when I read that was the name Webb. You are right we maor then likely won't find a quality starting tackle in FA later is year, but I wonder how hard it would be to just find someone better then Webb, it won't happen because I think Bear want to stay with Webb this year and hope he get better without killing Cutler first.

I agree with that. LOL at my original post. Wishing you could find a starter quality LT in FA is like wishing you'd win the lottery. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightening
