Should da Bears take a LB first round next year?

I never, ever thought I would say this or even consider the Bears without Brian probably because he has been there for almost all my football life (I'm 22,) but facing the facts we might need a new guy to at least back him up/play weak side before he retires. He is the heart and soul of the D and when he goes that void needs to be filled and I want that done quickly. I personally like Manti Teo out of Notre Dame (he has some problems and comes out of a 3-4, but definately the most talented Sr in my opinion.) Anyway I wanted all your opinions on the subject. Not meaning to commit any Bears blasphemy. But even Neal Anderson was taken before Payton stepped aside.

Plus don't think Teo will go very high, which is good because we are gonna win the Super Bowl this year.

Nah lets make it a QB.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

"Nah lets make it a QB." If we spent two years of 1st rd picks for a QB only to draft another one a few years later I will flip

All kidding aside, no matter what happens this year w/ BU & Webb, if the 1st round pick isn't a LB or OL, I'll be shocked. That's where the need is or at least soon will be.

Well, we will have to really wait and see where the BEARS draft from and who is on the board.

I'm hoping it's a deeper draft for OT's next year (anyone know about the quality tackles coming out next year?), and we can grab a starter in the 2nd round. Some years this is a pipe dream, but some years it's not. Depends on the class coming out.

I'm hoping we get a 1st round LB.

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

I agree that OL and LB are the ones that should be targeted. I would prefer OT as that position enables and protects your investment in Cutler which only took like 20 years to finally get a QB of his caliber.

    That's a good point.
