Mo I think the thought of that has crossed several minds including Lovie's and Emery's although it ain't happening yet. McC has the goods to play SLB, we already know that, and I think that was on the Bears mind when they drafted him. There may have been better choices for a guy to play strictly as a full time LDE but nobody else had the number of possibilities surrounding them in terms of how they could be used as McC did. They won't admit to it now of course but he's got skills that could pretty easily translate to MLB is they decide that how the team can best use him. It would take a while for him to learn the defense and those responsibility but the kid is very bright and obviously a "quick study" so down the road it's not out of the question.
We got higher value with his pick than anyone probably can see at this point.

I'll ask next time I run into one of the expert specialist guys I know. They may put him on a Medrol pack (short course of steroid) to cool it off. I just hope this is all scar tissue related (seems like it so far but im guessing based on Biggs only) and not any residual MCL/PCL issue. There's no treatment for that other than a waiting game. Fingers crossed Soul but this sucks when we seemed to have all the stars aligned :(Thanks brother. So realistically will this procedure eliminate the swelling and soreness associated with it or will it just reduce it somewhat and he's gonna have to live with some pain if he keeps playing on it?
Is the knee permanently weakened now so that it becomes an injury risk from now on? I ask because you just know the other guys are gonna be going for his knees trying to put him out. (No.........they never do that do they, LOL).
Any chance that even following this that it may flare badly enough again that he may miss even more time later this season or do you think this will do it for now?

All I want to know is who the Indian Chief is, what were the real odds against Custer at Bull Run, and if it was you how would you have bet it? The Souix had to be the home field favorites but would you have taken Custer and the points? Was there an over/under on US Cavalry fatalities? Any prop bets on how long Custer himself would last?
I hope they go with the premise that BU will be out the entire year. That may not be the case but it will give the mindset of guys will have to step up and there is no thought of BU hurrying back. If luck shifts in our favor and he can go earlier and recovers better then it's a bonus.

Although there may be some truth to this argument, what will you do when the sky actually does start falling? Ever hear of a meteorite? Stuff happens. It's best to be prepared.
I think we should move J'marcus webb to MLB.
