Lol, I'm just trying to point out that KD (even to a team "desperate" for a TE) isn't worth more than maybe a 6th round draft pick at best. He was a 4th or 5th himself (can't remember) and hasn't exactly shown himself to be the next Gonzo so far.

Maybe a case of Grey Goose...lol

I just drafted K. Davis as a backup TE for my FF team. And I'm sober

I'm thinking he could have a decent year for us, now that "Mad Mike" Martz, the anti-TE play caller, is gone.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

We haven't got a guy on our team who could even come close to matching Jason Witten's talent. Dallas was trying to sign Davis in the offseason before he decided to stick with the Bears and they may still be interested but in order for us to come out we need to rob them blind and that ain't gonna happen.

It's a good thought but Dallas isn't likely to give up a starter where we need help and I wouldn't be happy with just a mid round pick for the guy. He's more valuable to us right now than that. The kid can score TD's and we shouldn't trading guys who can produce scores especially not for a pick or backup level talent.

Deal or no Deal? Nope, no deal.

Davis for a 2nd (I know I know) or 3rd and I would say yes. Anything else doesn't make much sense. We would open a hole on our roster too

German I agree, I think we have some real talent at the spot, and I don't know that Davis is that much of an improvement over them. JJones also has stated this is a make or break year for the Cowboys, he's going to be fretting this injury something fierce. He might be willing to overspend.

I actually do agree w/Soul that if you cannot get something real good in return it's not worth it, but I don't see Davis as near the star everyone on this board sees him. I think he's average to slightly above it at best, and I think some of the guys on the roster can cover that ability until the young kids step up.
