I think right there is the secret ingredient. We need Honey Bears again. The Bears need the added culture and artistry. Yeah... that's it.... I'm after the artistry that they would bring.

    Seriously.

Games we struggle in, are often games where maybe one, or two fly low but don't land. And games where NO pigeons come near the field - we lose.

If I were Emery, I'd create a front-office level manager who is solely responsible for making Soldier Field "pigeon friendly" again. 1985, we had pigeons everywhere. During the Wanny & Jauron years they wouldn't even bother to crap on the field on a quick fly by.

Get those pigeons back and it's a guaranteed Super Bowl win. Maybe have one crap on Webb's head for good luck.
Well, that SUCKS then. The coyote population is way up here in Chicago and the city isn't going to do anything to stop it. Guess what one of the main courses is for coyote's ......pigeons.

Imagine if we had 11 Walter Paytons on the field at the same time.

None would score a TD in the SB, all would come from the Waterboy and others on the sideline. ( Sad point )

Some of them were works of art ...sha-wing. And some of them were them chicks with the great bods but had a little too much man-face mixed in. Still tho , I mean, after a few beers ... I'd still play hide the salami .
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

One thing I noticed is when we have more points on the scoreboard at the end of the game we win everytime.

We have THREE 1st round draft picks on that line!

And I'll be honest here. I've closely watched Webb work at camp, and I've watched that 1st pre-season game repeatedly. I don't see what others are claiming. He blew some plays, but he looked pretty darned good to me on almost all of his pass protection. He had 1 false start (not exactly a criminal offense in your first pre-season game). He allowed 1 sack in 4 quarters of play. Again, I'm not going to say the season is over - with 1 sack allowed in the first pre-season game.

So, I am going to believe my own eyes and not blindly accept what some other people are saying.

I almost think it's in vogue this pre-season, to jump on the "Sky is Falling" bandwagon and claim the oline is going to wreck our season. I just don't see it. I just don't believe it.

Excellent point JJ. Da Bears have control of the scoreboard at home games. We should be able to address that problem.
