When he invited me to this shindig 4th told me that we were gonna roast Mike Martz. I looked all over for a recipe but couldn't find one. So I called some of my friends of mine in Green Bay and they offered to help.

In his younger days Mike used to date Carly Simon . She wrote the hit song Legend In Your Own Time for him - here's some of the lyrics :

Heh heh heh heh - That album was released in 1971 Mike . Funny to see how prophetic those words would be in describing your tenure with the Bears eh ol buddy. She also wrote You're So Vain and Haven't Got Time For The Pain which is a couple more reasons Bears fans were happy you got he boot. Carly Simon isn't good for you Mike. heheheheh. You sure she didn't write all those songs about you ?

You know after all these years Carly finally divulged who she wrote those about and it wasn't who everyone thought either. They were written about her record producer David Geffen and the part about standing her up to attend a horse race at Saratoga is a true story.

Although I vote for making both Bears fans anthems as they relate to Mike Martz's tenure as the Bears OC.
