Not at all. The kid is black but according to the book sometimes Simon put that whip away and got it on with his slaves so maybe there's a tie......ya' know. Just sayin'. LOL
Let's be honest here. If I was a skin head white supremacists racist type would I go by a nickname like soulman?
Anyway this is what I could dig up on him. No real pro stats to speak of. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2011&genpos=FS

Half empty? No, that would mean I am expecting the worst. I am half full. I am optimistic, but my cup is not over flowing. Hence the wait and see. Plus, how much does a QB coach really matter anyway?
Thomas doubted AFTER seeing Christ. I am doubting Cutler/Bates BEFORE I see it.

You saw those passes he it Marshall with on that opening drive. If yes then you have seen. How often have you EVER seen the Bears throw deep like that early in the game? There'll be a lot more of that to come before the year is out and Bates is the reason why.
Tice may be calling plays but those plays are right out of the old Bronco playbook from 2007-2008. You're gonna see a Bears passing offense like you've never seen before.

I was actually out Saturday and did not watch the game, so all I have are unseen reports ;)
I don't have the exact numbers, but I know for a fact that a substantial amount of OCs past and present were former QB coaches. Hell, there's at least handful of HCs right now who share that resume of coaching QBs. These guys do get a bit of over-hype in this league, but they also get their fair share of respect.
