    I would bring Payton back because he played most of his career without an OL and QB. The CBs in this league would be scared to tackle him and blitzing linebackers would get crushed. Also Walter does not run out of bounds unless there is a minumum of 3 guys on his back while stiff arming the safety.

    I would like to see Butkus back but the pussification of the league would probably get him suspended for the season after week one. He just hit players way to hard when they got out of hand or had the ball.

    They'd probably suspend Walter Payton for unnecessary roughness against the opposing defenses, 4th. And you're right. Considering what James Harrison has had levied against him in terms of fines and punishments, guys like Dick Butkus, Lawrence Taylor, and Ray Nietschke would all be suspended early in the season due to how intense they were.
