You know DB and I got along just fine 99.9% of the time but for the life of me I do not know why he sets up these confrontations with certain posters. It's like an obsession he just can't let go of. If he was out at any local gin mill in Chicago and he went off on somebody like he did around here sometimes he would have been in so many bar fights that he'd need to keep a closet full of spare body parts around just to make it from day to day.

DB, if you're listening pal, maybe it's time for a kinder gentler approach.

I also never had a problem with him but his thread ownership is beyond annoying. It is a bears board so we should expect over the top homerism but not to the point of attacking someone elses opinions. Me and you dont always agree on things and we still have normal debates and conversations.

Shoop was always annoying in what he wrote, but his writing style is great. Very good read even when its content is mostly garbage. DB being unwelcome on just about every board speaks volumes about him and not those that he disagrees with.

If DB would just state his opinion, and let everyone else have theirs, then pick his battles he would be a great poster here. Problem is anyone that disagrees w/him he degrades, and when you fling it back he cries about how he's getting picked on.

when we have guys like you, soul, sfb, just...etc all posting articles and contributing in a repectful manner towards other members despite dissenting opinions we dont need the asshole. I can go in a thread anyone here starts without getting into a pissing match but instead get into a real debate. But after wards you guys dont take anything personal and dont make anything personal. I would rather keep that posting environment
