Giants dline: NFL-best 13.0 sacks through two weeks of the preseason!
Jason Pierre-Paul may not be able to play Friday, but Justin Tuck & Osi Umenyiora are as good as we'll see all season long. As Cutler says in this article, they can be devastating bull rushing OR speed rushing.
Two years ago they sacked Cutler nine times and knocked him out of their Oct. 3 game with a concussion. They then sacked backup Todd Collins one more time for an NFL-record 10 total sacks in a 17-3 win over Chicago.
There will be sacks in this game, even if our oline is better this year. I hope they get Jason Campbell in early.

Cutler praises Giants' defensive line
The Bears' offensive line has been a point of emphasis in training camp, and the front five will get its biggest test of the preseason on Friday when they match up with the New York Giants and their vaunted defensive line.
"Those front four that they have are some of the best in the league," Jay Cutler said. "They're really long, fast, they can bull rush, they can speed rush. So it's going to be a challenge."

Last season, defensive ends Justin Tuck, Jason Pierre-Paul and Osi Umenyiora combined for 30.5 sacks, and the Giants finished third in the league with 48.0 sacks as a team.
And the group has picked up right where they left off last season, recording an NFL-best 13.0 sacks through two weeks of the preseason. The next closest team is Houston, with 9.0 sacks.
"I don't think anyone else in the league has five, six guys that can rotate in the front four that can play like those guys," Cutler said.
The Bears' offensive line has allowed 10.0 sacks through two games, and will have their work cut out for them Friday night. And as Cutler said, it could be a learning experience to truly gauge how far along the group is with the regular season right around the corner.
