Jay Cutler said Brandon Marshall makes life easy, but Cutler said the offense needs to improve.
Chicago Bears quarterback
Jay Cutler left Friday's game against the
New York Giants after completing 9-of-21 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Cutler had a couple of passes dropped and made some others that he may have wanted back.
"We were just a little bit off tonight," Cutler said. "Our communication was lacking. We missed some stuff we should have hit, left a few plays out there.
"I thought the offensive line did a good job pass blocking. Got toi get the run game going a little bit, so there's work to be done, but we were right there in the game."
His highlight was a touchdown pass to
Brandon Marshall.
"He makes life easy," Cutler said. "We missed too many things out there. I was talking to him when we came out. We just have to clean it up.
"We're in a good place. I think we're headed in the right direction. Just clean up a few things. "
