At least 90% or more of teams in the NFL is a season ending injury to a starting QB away from being done. A very small amount have a semi-capable backup and the rest had no QB to begin with so it wouldn't even matter. Backup QB is an overrated position for the most part.
...Until he's needed. Then it becomes pretty darn important. Especially if it is a situation where your #1 is going to back in 4-6 weeks and you need your #2 man to win a few games in the meantime.
