I'm starting to worry about the same thing. The only thing is that I truly beleive he can be special. They really do have to bring this kid back to basic tackling though. Something like that is hard to do when you have been doing it your whole life a certain way. Especially when game speed kicks in and you just go back to old instincts. If they can't retrain him in that respect, then he may in fact have been a wasted pick. As Emery likes to say, however, "It's all on the tape". So wasn't anyone looking at this?
He said he was.......but they say he isn't. I couldn't see them taking a chance on that neck injury either until he got a complete exam and a bill of health and that wasn't happening for another couple of weeks.
Winged, struggling with his play and badly in need to some film study on how to tackle in the NFL as much as it hurts to say it HE'S probably better off on IR. Now we need to look for another FS.
