Tice is ridiculously bad at what he does. I know that in all his infinite wisdom, 4th and 26 used to complain about him and asked us all why we were up his ass -- only not in those terms, but it was alluded to. Did we fire one offensive coordinator only to go to another one who is no less of a megalomaniac as Martz? It sure appears that way.

I posit the theory that Tice has a God-complex when it comes to coaching. He thinks he's the end-all, be-all of coaches, that nothing he can do is wrong. Well, let me tell you something, Mike: this offensive line is worse than it was when you first got here, and it was terrible then. We may have all the schematics and skill players to run an "explosive" offense that you devised according to your press conferences, but as far as everything else is concerned, there is no balance with the offense when it comes to the offensive line. We don't pass protect too well, and we damn sure can't run block. You took a strength from the previous season and turned it into a weakness. That, in my opinion, is unforgivable, and is grounds for dismissal if this season turns out to be a miserable failure.
