I think I read it was his non-throwing hand, so won't be an issue for him (unfortunately!)

BTW, the NYG had Amakumura carted off too (high ankle sprain) and they were hurting at CB to begin with. He'll be out quite a while with that. I heard Stafford hurt his hand too but not serious. Maybe that's a big reason why I wasn't so down on the recent game--I was indeed really, really glad that we got through it w/o significant injuries. I was fearing some mayhem to one of our QBs or RBs.

I also think that the upper genetic limits of human size and speed have been maximized in the last 15yrs or so , and things break easier because of it . They're too big and too fast and some guys get wasted .
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Another good point. In the 80's on average the Bears linemen went about 280lbs give or take a few. Then guys like Larry Allen came along playing at 315-320lbs and all of a sudden that was the trend. Now they're all 315-320lbs on average and some of these guys go 350lb plus and yet they're the same 6'3", 6' 4" or 6'5" the smaller guys where.
That's a hell of a lot of strain to be putting on knee and ankle joints I would think.

I could have been an offensive lineman in the 1980s. Depending on how much weight I've gained since my last doctor's visit, I weigh anywhere between 279 and approximately 300 lbs. I'm 6'3".

I know a few years ago here in East Tennessee, there was a guy from, I think, Greeneville High School in the town of Greeneville who was a offensive lineman and was like 6'7" or 6'8" and about 400 pounds. The Fridge got up to around 400, but might have been just a little short of that mark.

now THAT is what I would call an OFFENSIVE lineman
