When George Burns was asked why he dated women half his age, he responded "Because their skin fits better." Truer words were never spoken

I get what you're saying. Around 35 is my cut off point otherwise it's gonna start to be like dating one of my kids. It's not MY rules you understand but introducing then to someone THEIR own age might get me committed.

But soul, you've already been committed in the past....

We're not the only ones with injury issues. Lions' RB Jahvid Best will miss the first six games of the season and the Packers just placed LB Bishop on IR. OT Derek Sherrod is still on the PUP list.
Another reason why there should be just TWO useless and meaningless preseason games, not four. Players get injured for nothing!

Several times...........but that was by choice this would not be. Trust me.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

And Sherrod was a guy who was on our draft prospect list last year. I'm sticking with what I've said about these injuries being more than just a coincidence. Rookie top draft picks are getting injured pretty often and there must be a reason why besides just bum luck.
By the way. DeCastro won't be put on IR.
DeCastro will have surgery, won't go to IR

David DeCastro will need surgery for multiple injuries on his right knee, but won't be placed on injured reserve, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
DeCastro tore the MCL, damaged the patella tendon and dislocated his kneecap in the injury in the Steelers' preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. (This is even worse than Carimi's injury last year. I'll bet a "bag of dicks" there is no way he plays later this year. But if I lose I'll have to borrow a bag from BBPB. I don't keep them around myself)
Despite all the damage to the rookie guard's knee, the surgery may not be season endng, and the Steelers are holding out hope that he will be able to return for the second half of the season. (Yeah and Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are actually Rosie O'Donnell and Elton John in disguise)
