I had this (Plantar fasciitis) last year and man, it freakin hurt and it hurt all the damn time. Now, that said, I'm sure I fall in the "total wuss" category relative to a guy like Pep, but still. Nothing you can do for it but rest it and I don't see a lot of rest in his immediate future. It took almost a year to get over it completely.
Boo.
We need to be healthy, not have season long lingering issues. I have no doubt Pep will at least attempt to play all season, but once the sore muscle begins to tear.......
Well like the article said, he shouldnt miss any games, just has to deal with pain. And it will give Clellin more reps during the season, so it should be alright.
Guys, they make Toradol, percocet, oxys and vicodin for a reason. Just ask Brett Favre. Pretty soon they'll have NFL endorsers doing commercials for them just like the one Lovie's did for NyQuil.
He and Wooton are the key to a healthier Pep. The guys can't keep playing 90% of the defensive snaps without some decline in his play late in the season.Quote:
