I have no problem starting a flame. I'll start by flaming Lovie's red flag so he can't throw it anymore. Between his horrible challenges, his clock mismanagement, and the absence of any half-time or in-game adjustments, there's no way he's an elite HC.

I read it just fine. But then I'm wearing trifocals.

You have a lawn? I have weeds and dead dried out things. But you kiddies better stay off it anyway, or I'll get the garden hose on you. (old guy next door did that to me once when I was a kid)

the department that I can say lovie is elite and not feel like a dumb ass homer saying it is that players want to play for him. When was the last time we lost out on a player to another team? When have we heard from a player say anything critical of Lovie and how things are run here? That to me is a big part of being a HC and he has it down. Now for the other stuff he leaves allot to be desired for. So imo I think he is top ten but elite to me is top 5

I am glad he made the distinction between elite and hall of fame. Its slightly unfair to put Bellichick in the same category as McCarthy and Lovie and the others. So elite sounds reasonable to me.

I agree w/Mo that players want to play for Lovie. He also attempts to get the best assistant coaches. Weather how much of that is him or the GM I don't know. I don't believe he's the greatest tactician however. To me "elite" is top 2 maybe 3.

Lovie's clock management turns me into a raging lunatic, his challenge flag discipline is ruled by his passion rather than rational thought. I do like the fact his players love him; to me, this is critical to player performance.

Lovie is at average at best at being a HC. He chokes alot in big games and he had 2 changes to eliminate the packers from winning their last SB. What I feel that kills lovie is that he has is aweful at making second half adjustments. Countless times he stick to the same stupid game plan that did shit in the first half. He lacks the ability to see his star qb struggling bad in games yet leaves them in way too long. The game is out of reach so save your qb and put in the back up. He is one of the worst when it comes to using time outs and challenges. Next thing he sucks at picking up coaches, most of his suck, get fired or worked with him from the Rams or Bucs. How many of his coaches that he picked up ended up at a HC on a different team? Only Rivera but he left the bears for the chargers where he eventually became a HC. The number one reason he is not an elite HC is " REX GROSSMAN IS STILL OUR QB. I will never forget the Cardinals monday night game where Mr. Potato head should have benched Rex for someone else yet he kept the guy in way too long and we some how won the game on defense and special teams.

Lovie is above average. He made a good job so far considering the shit he had to work with in the past....
