Part of the problem has been an overall lack of talent (with some notable exceptions). But Lovie has made his share of bonehead decisions too. Some of that is to be expected when you hire a guy win no head coaching experience. But now he has better all around talent (except for an offensive line), and he's experienced as a HC now.
Once he gets an NFL-level oline (now that he finally has a "real" NFL quarterback & WR's to work with), then it will be interesting to see what happens. No excuses at that point.
IF by some odd chance the team has an epic fail due to the oline having an epic fail this year, then I could see that they may sweep Lovie out of here. I'm not sure that is fair or wise. But somebody will have to take the fall. Fan expectations are through the roof for this year. IF we are 3rd in the NFC-N again, then watch the ax fall on Lovie's neck.
