Any chance whatsoever, that C.Will or Rachal can unseat Webb or Spencer? I figure that ship has sailed.
I am not going to even watch the game but I will blame Jerry Angelo for something.
Yeah, we're all wondering that same thing. I think it was called "let's use CWill as a stick to beat J'Webb with" and it was not exactly the smartest thing Tice has ever done. We do need a vet swing tackle as a reserve but it would have been better and it still will be if they can find one on the waiver wire who still can pass block well enough to play in an emergency. The consensus among us is that CWill belongs back at LG.
Yep, just a few spots open at most every position. Here's the guys I think it will come down to.
RB: Allen vs Booker (pretty simple choice but a tough one)
WR: Sanz has won so I don't see any other competitors except someone they can put on the PS
TE/FB: Clutts vs Adams (both good ST guys so which one is more valuable overall)
OL: J'Webb/Spencer vs CWill/Rachal (the all make the cut but Webb/Spencer probably get the starts to begin with)
DL: Price vs Davis (do we keep a 5th DT or a 5th DE)
LB: Thomas vs Williams (DeCicco should probably be put on IR)
CB: Wilhite vs Frey (if it were up to me Wilhite would be cut and Frey goes to the PS and we keep just four CBs on the final roster)
I may have missed one or two but these are the guys who come most easily to my mind.
