LB/SFB, the time to get a OL to help this team was in FA or the Draft, not now. We didn't nothing can be done now; but that shouldn't paralize the team from making the rest of the team better.

I don't think anyone is over-reacting at all. It is just the same opinion amongst several different posters that gets generally repeated, so it appears to be an over-reaction. I'm not going to go throw myself into the eye of a hurricane just because the Bears traded Tyler Clutts, and I don't think anyone is suggesting they would either. It's simply that many posts and posters feel the same way and share their thoughts in a similar fashion.
As far as Tice goes, I have always thought he was a meat head. However, during his first year, I kinda started to like him. I certainly like HIS sharing with the media/fans more than any other coach on this team. However, I'm still waiting to see the results of this great O-Line coach that the league "experts" keep talking about. I know, he gets a pass just like Lovie because "he can only work with what he's given". Well, just like Lovie, He's been given what he's asked for, so that excuse doesn't fly. Cutting Tyler Clutts does not move me one way or the other regarding Mike Tice. Continuing to have a league wide laughing stock at O-Line year after year DOES in fact, move me, and yes, THAT could very well get our QB's and RB's killed. Clutts is merely a nice complimentary player that played with a hard nose and blocked well and happens to play one of my favorite old school positions of Full Back. Is there something wrong with my favoritism here? Did you watch any of the plays last week when Rodriguez trying to make those blocks? I did and it was sad. He's a rook and he may get it someday and allow us to do other things, but right now, he doesn't and Clutts does. It's probably a move that had to be made, but I don't have to like every move that is made without being required to turn in my fan ID card.
Sorry to hijack with my above post. As far as Okoye goes, my question is how is the knee. At this point, didn't we just add another injured DT?
not sure about this. He got cut because of health problems and we pick him up? A healthy Okoye would improve our team for sure.
Still hope we can find a OL player that gets cut today and would improve us
But you can NEVER find a GOOD OL player cut, I think that was just stated ( really with as bad as the Bears OL is). So don't worry , the BEARS will go get an unproven/ injured Def. player.
ZZ on the score said Okoye has to pass his physical
Let's see if Okoye is even healthy first. Hard to believe Tampa would release him if he was at/near 100%, isn't it?
I'm skeptical of this situation as it sounds too good...
