Never understood the love for Willhite, although I don't watch the CB as much as the porous o line lol
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

Our 3 "developmental prospect" CBs this year--Frey, Wilhite, & McCoy--all sucked. None of them showed anything worthy of "a future". Like a batter who whiffs on 3 swings, we struck out w/o even a foul tip.
I'm probably reaching here, but maybe that was the motivation for the Clutts deal. To get one young CB who has some promise out of this offseason.

A safety would have been better than a cornerback, don't you think?
Clears the way for both Adams and Rodriguez to make the squad in the h-back/3rd TE role.
I am a Houston fan, I hope to come up there for the game this year. McMannis is good depth cornerback and ST guy. He is definately worthy of a roster spot, he just got caught up in a numbers game because CB is the deepest position on the team. Not a starter but won't be lost if he is thrown in the game. How is this Klutts guy?

According to many Bear fans who are pissed off right now, Clutts is the greatest blocking FB the football world has ever seen and the Bears were dumb to cut and trade him (despite his not playing much last year)
Apparently you got a steal my friend.
Seriously though, he is good blocker so he should be able to help you out a bit. How much depends how much and how he is used

You're gonna love him. The guy is a good "football player". Good STeams coverage guy who started his pro career in the CFL as a DE so he's knows how to cover and tackle. One of the best blocking FBs in the league. The guy know who to block and does not miss a guy once he gets him in his sights. Can catch a little but not a ball carrier. Foster should love him.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
