There are few players in Bears history who were more fun to watch play the game than Mike Singletary. He truly was the Peyton Manning of defensive players. Watching him calling out the play the offense was about to run was about as good as it gets from a spectators point of view. I would have hated to have been an opposing QB or OC playing against him. He knew what you were gonna run before you even ran it.
He was small by MLB standards. Just 6' tall and 230-235lbs but man he could hit. Imagine what he would have been like if he was the size of Butkus or Urlacher. My favorite play was one in the 1985 playoffs against the Rams. The Rams had 3rd in inches and handed of to their great RB Eric Dickerson. Instead of telling you just watch the play on this video. It starts around the 1:50 mark and it was the play that sealed the Rams fate that day.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

" What you do between your EARS makes one a great player." Nothing futher from the truth. I remember going to see MS play his last game against the Steelers, sad. It's reminding me of what it will be like when BU goes.
OK I just hope santa beats up the other teams fan that game too. LMFAO, that was kinda funny to see santa just pound a Steelers fan. Anyone else see that that game?
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?
