In the locker room at half time, and dissapointed with the team's performance, iron mike demonstrated how tough he was
was, and how tough the team should be playing. He grabbed a snapping turtle, dropped his pants and let the turtle bite his
private parts. After withstanding the pain for several minutes, to get the turtle to let loose, he poked it in the eyes. Then he
asked if any of the players were tough enough to do that. Everybody sat in stunned silence.
After a while, mike tomczak finally spoke up: "coach, i think i could do that, but on one condition - please don't poke me in the eye."
but otherwise a BEARS team that can play like that everyweek ...
is in a SUPERBOWL.
Indeed the Bears have written contenders all over them, if we can countinue to play like we did as against Cowgirls and even improve from that game, then who knows?
"Just got back from Jacksonville. LOTS of Bear fans there. It was like Soldier Field south. Great day but hotter than hell. It had to be close to 50-50 jags v Bears fans there. After the game it was like leaving a Bear home game. Jag fans began to leave in the middle of the 3rd quarter and by the end of the game it was almost all Bear fans left. The stadium staff and Jag fans were very nice to all the visiting Bear fans. All in all a great day."
