kellen davis and his role this season.
What do you guys see kellen's role being this season? I think he has all the tools to break out. I know we have rodriguez but he will need time. Davis proved a strong red zone target last year and i think he has the measurables to be a success in an offence that utilises the TE more than Martz did.
What do you reckon he does vs colts? I can see 6 targets, 5 catches for 50yds and a td...

Honestly, I don't think he will get that many targets, but I do think he will be effective and that will lead to more targets down the road. There are too many TE's that have something to offer for him to see 6 targets a game consistently. I think he'll have those games, but only once or twice all season.
We've got weapons in the passing game.

Lets just hope the TE's aren't stuck in blocking all the time.

You know it's tough to say at this point rich. Cutler is gonna use him because Cutler likes big targets but with Marshall on board and Jeffery waiting in the wings it's anybodies guess how many pass Davis will get.
I'm thinking that those three, Marshall, Jeffery and Davis will be his go to guys in the red zone. Getting six points when we were inside the 20 was a struggle sometimes and I think now with these guys we should score more TDs and have to settle for FGs less.
How are teams gonna cover all three of those guys down there?
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I give Davis 600+ & 5 TDs. However, if he does not show himself as a good blocker he won't have the opportunities.

He's been more potential than production . He has 'produced' a few TD's cuz he's been a forgotten man . He'll be a real TE when he proves he can produce when he's being accounted for like a Kellen Winslow a Russ Francis a Dave Casper .
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?
