The first few series were some of the worst football I have ever seen. Fortunately, they looked pretty good afterwards.

BUT...their Run blocking is damn atrocious. Not only are they unable to open up holes, the RBs are still getting nailed BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. I dont care HOW good your RBs are, if they get smacked in the backfield, it is an OL issue, not a RB one.
Still think we need a few more additions to the OL to make it a solid one capable of handling both pass and run blocking, but until then, looks like we will just have to rely more on the passing game. Thankfully we have the pieces for that.
Till then YES, Need alot n the OL. Noone looked GOOD or better. Seen Weeb get 2 to help and GC get BURNT The OL need's HELP
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?

don't think our OL was bad... Cutty finally has guys he can trust and deliver. Teams have to worry about more than Forte now

You mean the guy hit in the backfield with YOUR GOOD OL?

The pass blocking was great. Cutler had time to throw 90% of the snaps. The interior blocking was good. He had passing lanes and Webb and Carimi played well. Of course Webb didn't have to contend with Freeney and once he went done the passing game improved.
Run blocking was poor. Especially Spencer. I think today we saw the real value of Clutts in the running game. On several of those plays where we ran wide there was an unblocked LB wit no one to take him. Tice needs to redesign those blocking schemes against 3-4s. Tough to run wide if you don't have a lead blocker to take that guy out. This is also were we miss CWill as a pulling OG. IMHO the line graded out well except for Spencer.

Next week we will get ass raped if the o line plays like this. Good thing were Da Bears and have killer D

Anytime your team scores more than 40 points, you can't come down on the oline. They did a fine job today, even Webb. The run blocking will improve over these first 3 or 4 games.
Regarding Green Bay, they are looking very ordinary against SF right now. Losing at the moment. And that's at Lambeau.

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Ya' know I should stand corrected. We gained 122rushing/4.4 ypc. Forte 80/16/5.0 ypc, Bush 12/42/3.5ypc. Cutler 21/35/60% 333yds. Total yds 455. They must have been blocking somebody.

You're 100% right. I'll take 40+ points anytime. With our defense and now this offense, we should be really solid. Loved the weapons firing today (even Ashlon looked solid).
