    RB Booker placed on IR before game 1, Allen in

    The Bears on Saturday promoted running back Armando Allen from their practice squad to the 53-man roster, terminated the contract of running back Lorenzo Bookerand waived linebacker Patrick Trahan.
    Booker was unable to practice this week due to the injury and had been listed as questionable on the injury report for Sunday's season opener against the Colts.

    Good point. If Podlesh is healthy and can go then we should have another spot open soon too.

    Well Allen gets his spot back after all. I wonder if they designated Booker for recall-IR.

    Too bad he wasn't released a week ago. The Bears could have kept Clutts

    Benji I think Clutts was probably gone no matter what. Tice seems dedicated to Rodriguez as his FB/Hback and that's that. I wish he wasn't so stubborn about the all TEs no FB thing but it is what it is. At least we got a player we can use for him and Clutts will be better used in Houston than he ever would have been here. Better for him anyway.
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
