SF's offense doesn't look exactly daunting, but they're still embarrassing Green Bay's defense so far. GB looks pretty bad. If GB shows up with this kind of defense Thursday, we'll put up another 40+ points.

I thought the same thing
Haven't watched, but I thought that SF was going to be the class of the NFC this year. They were a play or 2 away from going to the SB last year, and I think they could have beat NE also. Their D is just as good, and they've added on O. Smith now has a OC that believes in him, and is willing to put him in a system that works for him.
Theres no reason we can't go5-0 out of the box
Harbaugh is a good coach and he's been successful everywhere he's been. They played a good game. GBs pass defense still looks pretty shaky but they'll be playing lights trying to bounce back from this one. Losing two at home to open the season puts them in a huge hole.
If we can pass protect and control the ball like we did today so we limit Rodgers opportunities we've got a good chance of winning. Hope fully they can come with as good a game plan Thursday as they had to day. The did a good job of mixing it up. 56% pass/44% run.
We are going to have to control the clock via the run to keep A Rod off the field, and we'll have to harass him via the DL and blitzes...but this isn't a Rook in his first game, Rodgers will be able to pick apart an ineffective pass rush. They'll need to step it up.
Will be a good benchmark beating them esp. with the Pack coming off a loss.
Look at it this way, guys: we're tied for first place in the NFC North after one game, and not with the Packers!
