One great change this year is that we now have the offense to keep up with Rodgers, and our defense is better than Green Bay. Yes, GB will get points, but we will get more, due to our defense getting enough stops that we outscore them.
I agree with the Short Faced Bear, that this would be a great time for our special teams to show up with a monster game.
Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis
I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Hopefully we didn't show all our cards. Just enough to show Bmarsh and teams cannot load the box as much. K.Davis needs to come on receiving wise.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

They can double Marshall all they want but he'll still get his catches and neither he or Jeffery are at all intimidated by physical play and Bennett can take a licking too. If those guys go for the big hit on Marshall he will just spin away like he did a few times yesterday and leave them clutching air. For a big guy he has some move to pick up extra yardage.
What I like about yesterdays game is that Cutler showed just how well he and Marshall can work together. He's not afraid to throw to him when he's covered because he know he can still out muscle guys and go up and get it so tight coverage won't get him to ignore Marshall.
Then when they do all but hog tie Marshall somebody else is wide open like the passes to Bennett and Hester and given the time to sit back and loft a deep one he proved he's got accuracy and touch on the long ball. They gave the Pack a lot to look at yesterday and what they saw was not the same Bears team they've been playing for a very long time.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

We can play dirty too. Most game days Cutler doesn't look like he has bothered to shower.
I remember McMicheal say that he loved his job because you didn't have to shower to go to work.

I hope it's a cleanly played 'football' game . If they pull any dirty s#!t then we better give it back 10x worse . Any injuries = them getting 2 . But I hope none of this kind of crap happens . It'd make the chances for both teams to have successful seasons alot worse . Not that I care about the Frackers , I just don't wanna see any of our guys getting injured on BS plays .
May the best 'football' team win ( in this one game ) . There's a long way to go .
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I saw this, too, Zelezo. Anyone who says that "Big Mac" doesn't have a counter move when he goes after the quarterback is fooling themselves because this is the second time I've seen him spin around a tackle and apply pressure to a quarterback. This will invaluable to the defense for when Rodgers tries to run outside the pocket because I guarantee you that he's not as fast as "Big Mac."

Not saying Shea is BAD, but I have also see that Spin Move and he got washed inside losing contain. I'd like to see a Dip Shoulder and beat the OT or Swim, or just a good old Bull Rush. Just blow by his guy at the snap, leaving the OT looking like Webb did last year. Bull Rush probably will take some time, strenght.

"Big Mac" is mainly a good backup right now. I fully expect that the Bears' main compliment to Peppers at LDE is going to be Corey Wootten, believe it or not. I've been a believer in that kid for the past few years, and if he ever stays healthy, then I expect big things to happen.
I think this is going to be the best pass rushing defense we've had in at least six years. I think we have a chance at getting 40 sacks or more. The bulk of it will come from Peppers, Melton, Okoye, Paea, and Wootten. We should have had at least four sacks against the Colts, but I will take three since that adds up to us getting approximately 48 sacks on the year, which would put us among the league's leaders in the category.

Agreed, Scotty. And the middle of that defensive line needs to continue to do what it does so well by clogging up the holes in which the opposing team can run through. I see us having no trouble stuffing the run against the Packers since they don't really ever run the football with any degree of regularity.
