HMMMMM, OL and hmmm, maybe the OL?
EDIT
OK Coaching staff if I can't vote for something twice.

That may be true but KNOWING that Webb is the weak link why keep putting him on an island? You could just as easily run the ball early and take GB out of pass rush mode. You could do any number of thing besides drop back and pass. I got an idea lets drop back and pass and let Webb have to block Clay for five secs.
Yes Webb has a problem blocking one on one but we know this. Why keep asking him to do it? Even when he did a "solid" job Jay couldn't pull the trigger. Why? Because GB rolled a saftey to Brandons side and after that Jay was running for his life. Take the pressure off Jay and the WRs early and run the ball. It worked in the second half when it was to late. Lets try it the start a game and MAYBE that'll open up some play action as opposed to play action for play actions sake.
I honestly believe that we were in the game up until we started making mistakes and most of those mistakes were caused by constant pressure on Cutler. Was it Webbs fault? By himself, no. But the line was horrible and lots of pressure was coming through the middle and the left side. Not so much through Carimi.
So I don't think that Webb lost us the game, but he certainly made his contribution.
As Rosen-rant stated eloquently tonight, it's hard to run play-action when you havent established the play.
Tice got enamored with his "weapons" in the passing game and failed to adjust early when GB took them away by refusing to play press/man coverage on the outside. Really really bad performance by the coaching staff there. The "play" was to RUN the ball and stick to hitting short undeneath stuff to loosen up the D. [Note: that's what the Pack did.]
We just don't have the OL to air it out deep without making the D respect the shorter game first. Tice forgot that and he was /became Martz Jr. tonight...and the results showed it.
A HUGE OPPORTUNITY was utterly squandered and the Chicago Bears were totally out-thought & out-played tonight by a key rival they could/should have beaten. Jennings was out--we had a great chance to win as hugely an important game as you can have in September. Pissed off about that.
Epic fail on the O and the coaching staff.
Spencer is as disgusting of a player as webb
I agree with swc we got pass happy early on and it only made it easy on gb pass rush and coverages. Who the hell does play action passes when the run isn't established yet lol
I think it's a lot like a bad work environment. If you put people in a position repeatedly where they are known to fail the fault lies w/the supervisor not the incompetent employee. Sorry, pixie dust or no, it is what it is. And one doesn't have to be a coach to ascertain that.
why is no one slamming Spencer for being every bit as bad?
Not sure are you talking about Webb or Cutler with your statement they were both slow and useless last night.
Webb wasn't the one keying in on one receiver while others were open, nor was he the one standing in the pocket not moving at all just standing there waiting to get hit.
