since this is about J Webb, I will not go on and say how bad the other OLine guys were or that Cutty is at fault to or that the coaches did a poor job or that we played a good team...
Webb fucking sucks and should be cut already. This was the worst performance by a LT we have seen in years. Webb sucked big times and in the end you can't win with a bad performance like this.
Now add that Spencer sucks too Cutler never had the time to do anything and if he did have the time, he always prepared to get hit from his blindside. Cutler does not trust Webb and Spencer, plain and simple. He also shouldn't trust them the way they played. Start Williams and trade 2 1sts for a LT that is a good starter

Watching Philly Ravens game. Philly had to put in their backup LT ( really 3 string) I'd take him over Webb anyday.

Soul - what if this IS his A game?

Is his A game better then Webb's? I know the staff SAYS they will put the best player on the field, but I think it;s more who the coaches BELIEVE is the best player in their minds.
I BELIEVE

I hate to day this but...
...watching the Seattle-Dallas game and OMG is playing pretty darn well against DeMarcus Ware.

That just adds to "why is it when a player leaves the Bears, they do so well theory" HMMM, just maybe, MAYBE it's the staff?

Are you serious?! That is downright depressing. Maybe if they had an OL guru like Tice he could fix that.
In all seriousness, (and I hardly even believe I am saying this) but if he is consistently good then maybe we should keep Webb and change out Tice. In all seriousness Webb DOES have the tools and if someone like OMG can play well with some good coaching, well maytbe Webb can too.
I don't hate Webb. (although I lost what very little respect I had when he laughed off Cutlers "You are going to get me killed" diatribe. But seriously, if Webb can do it (or even Mickey Mouse -- frankly I don't care as long as SOMEONE can do it) then we need to make it happen.
I'm not sure Lovie would let Tice go though and who the heck would we get now anyway? I need to take a breath. If there was anyone that I thought nothing could be done with it was OMG. Hearing this really makes me re-evaluate our abilities to coach up talent. And it may be the single factor in our putrid OL if OMG is a good OT.

MP, Seattle's coaching staff is smart enough to play him at his best position, LT. We put him at LG & he was terrible. When Williams got hurt against Dallas they put OMG at LT & he wasn't terrible. Much better than Webb or Williams IMHO.
