Gameplanning that needs to change from here on out...

Run 1st and often. We've got the RBs to do the work. If they keep things up as it is, no one's gonna be scared of the passing game.

I'm not buying into those TEs being used as blockers, and they've got to find SOME use for Davis. That Olsen trade is looking worse by the minute (yeah, I know it was one of those 3rds we had to trade to get Marshall, but still).

The D is doing good enough, but it's well known that a couple of long drives without much rest will cause them to fail.

Also, when we start going for passing plays, let's tone down the long bombs. Get some kind of report with short to intermediate passes.

Anyone else have ideas, disagreements, etc.?

K.Davis hasn't done squat. All that chip help w/Webb is going to be exploited either on the other side of the line or by limiting the TE's non-existant routes.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I'm not seeing any real worth out of Paea. Cut some of his playing time. Again, when passing, let's try some short stuff.

Also, let's all keep in mind, that some REALLY bad calls changed the tone of the game, and before they were gassed, the D did a pretty damn good job against Rodgers. Also, might wanna start looking to other people in the end zone than Marshall.

    Chicago Bears

We need to find a way to stop the pass rush especially Clay Matthews next time we face Green Bay later in the year.

I agree 100% with running the ball more. You can't come out of the gate and let ANY defense pin their ears back and rush the QB. We tried one screen early and it was sniffed out. This game plan reaked of arrogance and the same type of shit that got Mike Martz a job doing whatever in the fuck he's doing right now.

Having said that hats off to GB. They took advantage of poor play calling and piss poor execution. I saw alot of coverage sacks today. It looked like GB had 13 men on the field alot of times lol. At the end of the day this game can serve as a wake up call. Stop thinking your good and go prove you are.

I have high hopes for this team going forward. The defense looked really good save a few third and longs and jesus has anyone got the memo that Ced still has a score to settle? Someone blast that motherfucker.

Heres to hoping Mats ok. No, I don't mean "Matts" he can go fuck himselfs lol. Just kidding kid I love ya lol.

One thought, KDavis is an over match against most linebackers. Most of his big runs last year were 5 to 10 yard receptions with 15+ yards after the catch. Why the Bears were using him 15+ yards down field I don't know. My choice would be to use him in the 4-9 yard range and let him bulldoze a line backer or trample a corner. This has the benefit of allowing him to "leak" out into the short portion of the field if his blocking is not necessary.

Run the ball to set up the pass....what a thought that's exactly what SF did to GB last week. But why follow that gameplan, they were only 1-2 plays away from the SB last year and embarassed GB. Why would we want to do that, Throw and Throw a lot against a great pass rush and CB?

This si why dropping Clutts was a head-scratcher. He played to our area of need and he was good at it. Plus, any good RB can use a good battering ram. We saw GB do it. I think that Tice either is not on the same page as reality as to our inadequacies in protection or whatever. Clutts should have been kept and utilized. Hell, we can use one of him behind Webb and another behind Spencer. If Tice is going to keep insisiting we are good on the OL, then we need to use linebackers (people that back up the line) behind our OL also. We could be pioneers and start the trend on offensive LBs as well as defensive LBs!
