    Good game Bears fans

Tough loss for you guys, but just like us last week, one loss isn't the end of your season. You have a brand new offense that still needs a few weeks to gel. Your defense played very well given the situations they were put in. As I said all off-season though, I don't know why you didn't do more to fix that offensive line. Getting Marshall was great, but if Cutler doesn't have time to throw to him it's moot. I'd rather have a good blocking offensive line and decent receivers than a top tier receiver and crap line.

I have no doubt you'll bounce back and kick the Rams in the teeth next week. I have no doubt when we meet again in week 12 you'll be looking like a different team, and here's hoping for another Packers/Bears playoff game!

I hope Forte is ok. Hopefully it was nothing more than a sprain.

I fear having to watch SF dismantle us. This is was my greatest fear; GB at home came out like this was a playoff game and just weren't going to let this game be a loss. I 100% think you're right Ever, it will be a different team, b/c 1 of 2 things are going to happen. the team will gel and be more coherent; or every O player will be hurt that has to play behind the that awfull OL.

Not going to lie, I was pretty much curled in the fetal position in the corner by the end of the 49ers game. Barring some kind of major implosion they have to be the favorite for the NFC Super Bowl representative. We did only lose to them by 8 points though in a penalty riddled horribly reffed slugfest, so they definitely aren't unbeatable. If you hit your stride at the right time you may be one of the few teams that can beat them.

IF, IF, IF. GOOD GAME? What game did you watch? Unless you think GB looked like SF last week? Then it's a good game for you. GB was SF and the BEARS where GB. Last week you didn't think it was a good game did you?

I know it wasn't a good game for you, however I've made it a point to say good game win or lose since I've started posting here. It's called sportsmanship.

I know exactly how you're feeling because I felt the exact same way last week. The score of this game wasn't what was important, it's what the Bears do to rebound from this game that's important. It's the "any given Sunday" factor. Do the Bears clean up their mistakes and take their frustrations out on the Rams next week and steamroll through the rest of the season or do they crawl into a shell and die? If I was a betting man, I would put money on the former over the latter. There's still plenty of football left to be played this season and plenty of time to fix problems with personnel and scheme changes

Dont worry about it, we are more pissed at the Bears and management then we are at the Packers. Packers played their game, and played it well...unfortunately the Bears didnt, they flat out embarrassed themselves.

    Evernight,

You are being way too generous though the sportsmanship is appreciated. Congrats on a big win for the Pack. They deserved it and the Bears did not.

I give credit where credit is due. Dom Capers totally SCHOOLED Mike Tice tonight from a coaching perspective, despite being vastly out-matched personnel-wise. Tice called a game like he'd never seen a cover-2 defense before. I have no words to describe how Tice's horrible game planning made the Packers secondary, one of the league's worst, look like 4 HOFers back there. No roll-outs/bootlegs to buy time, no run/short underneath passing game to loosen the coverage, not even a slant or crossing route to be seen. Capers completely out-strategized Tice by a mile. EPIC FAIL by the Lovie and the OC.

Both teams have suspect OLs. Bears maybe more so but neither is anything to write home about. But, despite that, Rodgers completely outplayed Cutler. AR was sacked 4 times in the 1st half too but remained poised and composed and hit what the D gave him (mostly underneath). Cutler looked like a scared little boy out there. Utterly failed to keep his head. Sorry, but despite the bad OL he SUCKED ASS fellas. Half those sacks were him holding the ball too long and looking lost. Either its on Cutler, the Bears WRs utterly failed to beat soft coverage (by a terrible pass defense), or suddenly the Packers found 2 blanket CBs out of their ass. Demonstrated clearly why AR is considered "elite" and JC is decidely not.

It was just like so many games we Bears fans have suffered through the last decades. The D played heroically, despite some bullshit ref calls and a dropped INT by Briggs, and kept us in a game we had no business being into the 4th Q. I mean, when you hold the Pack's offense to 16 points, can you ask anything more? *%$@$$@@!!!!! Hester, Bennett, Marshall, and Cutler were all fucking terrible and our only weapon was, as always, Forte (with an honorable mention to Bush after Forte went down). Just ridiculous.

An EPIC FAIL to (most of) the offense and the coaching staff for letting a golden opportunity slip away so pathetically. Had a chance to put a dagger in the belly of your prime rival for the divisional title and you brought absolutely nothing to the gunfight.
