I don't think you'd get much argument from people on the forum, but they didn't ask us.
Did the OL play A GREAT, B WELL, C AVERAGE, D below average, F STUNK IT UP? OK Now your the guy , that has been battered and briused behind the OL, when is enough? What / who is the weakest link on the OL? ( I'll say it could be player and / or coach). It all starts in the trenches, and from what I seen, it's not a trench, but rather abunch of PLOTS lined upped next to each other. Sure the Bears will beat the lesser teams, go on to have a good record, maybe even make the playoffs. BUT when it comes time to play the BIG BOYS, do you really think the Bears will make it thru the whole GAUNTLET? I now have MY doubts. D played well, ST,HMMMM.OFF's NO. OFF"S failded as a whole ,coaches, plan , and execution.
hey look, media rips on Cutler. I've seen this by other QBs often and a lot. When Manning does this, it's called leadership.
Cutty was right and he did call out Webb after Webb lost the battle over and over and over again. Webb sucked, Spencer sucked and the coaches should have had a plan B. Establish the run, throw when you have the chance and run again and again.
That's not a different perspectiv, this is a joke. If anything, Webb has to say in public that he has to do a better job to keep his job and protect his QB.
Cutlers record at Lambeau field is bad. He will win a game there too. If he would be the only guy on the team that would have made mistakes, I would understand the critics. I don't understand it when you have no protection, WRs drop TD passes and coaching was bad in this game. Cutty is to blame for his bad game, no doubt, but he wasn't the only guy that sucked
I put most of this directly on the coaching staff. HORRIBLE game plan and NO adjustments during the game. They knew their "O" line has problems but did NOTHING to correct that. That's something that is impossible to understand. They BETTER learn from this glaring mistake and "Get With The Program" !
Exactly OMC! To blame Jay Cutler solely for this is just plain idiotic! They all sucked! From top to bottom....getting tired of the Lovie Smith roller coaster every year! Always outcoached by better teams
I guess I am too old to get into all the fancy shit people like to talk about in todays game.
To me it very simple, being a QB for the Chicago Bears is like being on a battle field 24/7 without any protection at some point you will just start shooting at anything that moves as you keep running for your life. If you find a nice big wall to stand behind you can pick the enemy off and hit your target more times then not. Having nice target to hit is nice but it make more sense to be well protected so you have time to hit your target
