Very few qbs that had a good week one had a good week 2 and vice versa. Rodgers still didn't do great against us, and the only real criticism of Cutler that should stand, at this point in the season is that he stares Marshall down too much. The criticism that goes against the team is that Tice is calling terrible plays in the beginning of both games, to get a tempo going; not to mention the o-line center to lt have played poorly. However, with the right playcalling to start the team out, they might just play better. With that said, i hope webb is on a short leash, and as a fan, him laughing at the qb's frustration with him is annoying. But, to step back, people all handle stress in different ways, and perhaps trying to keep jovial when a serious temper is not for us to criticize. Perhaps...perhaps that's just how he deals with adversity, but if he isn't getting the job done, i don't care if he laughs in the unemployment line. I just want this team to have the best players at each position, and maybe Cwill is that at LT, or maybe LG....

funny how the other qb that was a punching bag out there didn't have to cop a tude w/his OL. The excuses made for cutler are starting to rank up there w/Rex.

OK, I can buy that, BUT was it the same compatence of the coaching staff. GB did what they had to do to win, I can't say the same for the Bears.
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?

Yeah funny how people can be different that way . Huh go figure .

Funny how different people can have different 'takes' on things also.

It's also funny how different things can have different outcomes.

    But nobody's 'different' .
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

would have much more time to get him signed

Since Cutler is here, he never had much time and a competent average OLine. those other QBs had and they knew it was some kind of off games. Cutler knows that this is the best Webb can play. When he plays against one of the best pass rushers, it shows the lack of his play.

Cutler doesn't need to change, I thought we were over this attitude shit and leadership problem...

Cutty does not need to change at all. What needs to change is the Oline. If the Oline plays like the best in NFL I doubt we'll see an attitude like that from Cutty again. But when the Oline suck balls like a pornstar he got the damn right to call them out. If your co workers screwed it up for you and your company wouldn't you tell them to man up?

Trade Cutty? Rubbish.. Good luck finding a QB that can play better than Cutty behind that Oline.. We can have Peyton Manning for all I can but if there's a DE in his face right after the snap even him or Tom Brady won't make the throw.
    Oderint dum metuant.

Here is my take on the whole thing:

We need another game, so that we (and the rest of the Bears followers) can stop talking about all this crap.

Who's fault is it? Does anyone owe anyone an apology? Is the player wearing the right facial expression? IMO, those are all f'n irrelevant. Sure, I have an opinion on each of those questions, but I'm just a fan and what I think only matters to other fans on this board (if that).

Honestly, I think we need something else to focus on, and it's a damn shame this happened on Thursday night, because that only means we focus here that much longer.

I don't expect this to repeat itself, even when we play the Packers again. History has shown us that. Each year the two games are dramatically different for the last decade. One team is better (currently Packers, earlier in the decade Bears) and beats the tar out of the other, then the other game is so close that one or two plays determines the outcome.

What is important is for us to win the games we are supposed to win, and get a break or two in the ones that we all looked at 2 months ago and said...."I don't know if we win that one".

"Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak."

funny how guys w/multiple sb rings, one coach, one player have the same opinions, funny how the qb under all the pressure w/multiple sb rings DIDN'T react like a douche. funny how their reactions were all similar and they all have one common thing in common; sb rings and composure.

    funny huh.

“He (Cutler) has a very fragile character"

What do you guys think? Does Cutler "have a screw loose" or is it OK for him to push his own players around and mope?

    LINK to the article

    Brown: Cutler has fragile character

Former offensive lineman Lomas Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler, said Friday that he would have had a much different reaction than did J'Marcus Webb, who just stood there while he was being yelled at and bumped by Jay Cutler during the Chicago Bears' 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday.

"I'll tell you what, if that had been Jay Cutler and he would have came up and bumped me, you all would have been talking about the fight me and him had on that sideline,” Brown said on ESPN's First Take.

Brown said that Cutler's behavior is indicative of a deeper problem, and it's not at all good for the Chicago Bears.

“He has a very fragile character.

To me, the way he attacked (Webb), it's one thing to be yelled at and scolded, but for him to come up and push this guy, actually push this guy, you know, it was ridiculous,” Brown said.

“Then you turn around with his double standards and he pats Brandon Marshall on the head when he drops a touchdown pass.

    I don't understand this guy.

I think he has a very, very fragile personality. I think it's bad for the Chicago Bears because you could look at his body language, your quarterback is the one person you don't want to see sitting on the sideline moping, walking with his head down, getting up in everybody's face.”

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.
